CUSTOM, SEMI-CUSTOM & STOCK

Often times, customers want to know the difference between custom cabinetry, semi-custom cabinetry and stock cabinetry. Here are a couple of very straight forward definitions on the topic:

Custom Cabinetry

 "Custom" means built to project-specifications. All dimensions, material, finishes and hardware are choosen per clients prefrences.

Semi-Custom Cabinetry

"Semi-custom" means selecting products from a library of cabinets with standard sizes. There are a variety of styles, quality standards and specifications to choose from.

Stock Cabinetry

"Stock" means one size fits all, what you see is what you get. There is a catalog of sizes, you can't change anything, and they are typically not made to order but warehoused.

These are just a few photos from our

THAI DISHES, Santa Monica project. They are custom made banquettes which accompany a zebra wood center display for the restaurant.

We are getting excited!

We always get really excited when it is almost AWFS time! That is the bi-annual woodworkers conference held in none other than the famous LAS VEGAS!

A big theme this year is "Use Green to Grow Your Business‏".

This year the fair will be July 20-23, 2011. They offer business-building solutions, the next-generation technology and critical knowledge targeted specifically to woodworkers.

Commercial Project: Donghia Sconce Display

We had the pleasure of working with Descoto West Inc. again on the Donghia Sconce Display project. Donghia is an interior furnishings company in the Pacific Design Center.
